Hail and Thunder!

No, that's not the title to a story.  That was the actual weather this evening on the trip home.  Big chunks of ice bouncing off the windshield, amidst rain, lightning and thunder.  What a fun summer storm.  Okay, so it made getting anywhere take a heck of a lot longer.   The storm came in waves, so there would be a few minutes of storm, then a reprieve where it would slow down to a drizzle (or even stop with nearly clear sky like a sun shower) but then it would pick up into a torrent suddenly.

What a trip.
