Random update

My son has learned to say the word please.  Thanks to cheesecake, which apparently is quite the motivator for the child.  Now he is using the word please to ask for more.  He's also using the hand sign for more for things other than play , which is kind of nice, because for a while we thought that he might have interpreted that gesture as getting to play.  No, he seems to know what it is, he just only cared to use it when it meant another go down the slide.  

Thursday, I'll be heading up to Boston area for Readercon 19.   Anyone on my flist who is attending, I'll see you there.  Yes, I'll have my Kindle, and yes, you can look it over, just ask nicely.  Any of the Boston locals want to meet up, let me know.   Any of the home area locals who wish to be kind, please check in with the Lovely Wife to see if she might use a hand.
