For any of you who do not know this about me, I'm an afficiando of a particular snack chip, the Dorito. I've probably consumed more than my share's worth of Doritos for a lifetime or two already, and I doubt that I'll stop any time soon. Mostly, I prefer traditional flavor, though Cool Ranch is a favorite as well. In the past few years there have been a number of new flavors released, and often I give them a pass. Though I do like the Spicy Sweet Chili as well. Mostly though, while I've tasted most of the other flavors, they don't generally hit with me, and I still with the old standards. But recently, I found a new flavor that I like.
Mr. Dragon's Fire Chips.
These are a wasabi flavored Dorito. And they are AWESOME. (Assuming, that is, if you actually like the flavor of wasabi, as I do.)
I ran across these a few weeks back at the local QuickCheck, and bought a small bag. (It was the only size I saw at the time.). But something came up, and I didn't manage to sit down and eat them right away. Then they got put up on a shelf in my office, and I forgot that I had them. When I finally got around to trying them, I was quite excited, as this would be a great chip to have around the gaming table. (And if some of the other gamers don't like wasabi....oh well that's MORE for me...muhahahahahahaha. *cough*.)
The only problem is, now that I tried them and like them, I can't find them again. I haven't seen them at any of the local marts. I was hoping to buy some more, but it appears as if they may have been a limited time deal. To which I can only say. NOOoooooo.
If you are local and spot any in stores, please let me know. If you aren't local, and like wasabi flavored treats, I recommend them.
