It is patently impossible for me to hear the song "Linus and Lucy" by Vince Guaraldi and not cheer up.  In fact, most days, its almost impossible for me to hear that song and not dance in my seat. 

Do you have a song like that?  One that just changes your mood in a heartbeat for the better?

I'd have to say that 'You Will Rise Again' by Capercaille does it for me. It's a slow song, no driving beat or anything like... but the words are *very* uplifting for me.

Hirano Aya's God Bless and Lost My Music--they're not a remarkable song in themselves, but their association with the anime character whose voice she filled and the incidents in the anime's plot that led up to the character singing them were so damned funny. And maybe Humdrum from the Corrs' newest album.
