Looks like I may have lost a PC to this recent batch of thunderstorms. Won't boot back up. Could be just the power supply, or something could be tripped down there, and I'm not seeing it. But, as the basement is under renovation, and I don't have the space to work properly, I'll let it go for now. I'm not using it at the moment, and that PC could stand a replacement anyway. My guess is if anything went it was the power supply when the power temporarily flickered out. It's on the big surge protector, but that doesn't seem to have mattered. I'd be surprised if the surge came in through the network cable, and didn't manage to fry anything else. All the other equipment? Fine. I guess I'll see how long I can go before I decide I need something off that PC. It was pretty convenient though, at least as a place to store backups of files on occasion.
