This past weekend, saturday to be specific, it was up in the 80 degree range.
Right now, looking out the window it's snowing. A little flurry, but still, I think this is the first snow I've seen all winter. I don't think the snow will last, in true flurry fashion, it will probably be gone in minutes.
I'm not really a snow person. I don't really enjoy it all that much as I did when I was a kid. Perhaps it's the fact that I have to shovel everything out myself now. No snow-blower. No room to store a snow-blower. I think that, and the fact that as an adult the concept of snow days, those days where you get to just stay home and play, don't really exist. It has to be really dangerous out for my work to close the building. In the ten years I've been working here, I can only recall a handful.
On the other hand, this will be both the puppy's and the Little Man's first snow season. So there should be something exciting about that. Though the Little Man will be too young to have any concept of the white stuff falling from the sky. Perhaps next winter will really be the first interesting one for him.
