Well, it appears that the final nail has been laid into the coffin of The Dresden Files TV Show. There is an announcement of Jim Butcher's site about it. The show has been canceled by Sci-Fi.
Here's the article.
Yet again, we see the supposed "wisdom" of the execs in canceling a show right when it hits its stride. (I vented briefly about that here)
Okay, so this isn't Firefly, but it was better than Blade: the Series and it should have been given another chance. Now what, will there be Stargate the bazillionth variation? This just sucks.
(Just in case it's not clear, this only refers to the TV show, and not Jim Butcher's novel series. That seems to be going strong.)

I am very sad that it has been canceled. I can't believe that drek like Painkiller Jane gets renewed while a decent show like Dresden gets axed after the network bungled it a la Firefly.
Oh, and if you were planning to buy the DVD set, BN.com is running a 40% off promo which ends up around $21.00 or so.
