Second short story of the month. First draft in at 4,000 words. Um....is this me? Two stories in one month, and neither are like 10K words? Have I replaced myself with a doppelganger or something?
Okay, the ending kinda petered out. And last minute research says that, um, I should have accidentally killed a character, that wasn't supposed to be dead. So I'm going to have to fix that in the revision. And I have a title, that kind of makes no sense in terms of the story. This was the last of the story ideas I had come up with for an anthology from last winter. I finally got around to writing it. So, four ideas, and now four stories. Not shabby. That's also number six for the year, which means I met my Forecast three prediction. Ack. I'm getting all business speakish. Clearly a sign I need to go to sleep.
