You know it's going to be one of those days, when a Starbucks Venti of their strongest brew barely puts a dent in your tired.

I guess I could go buy a cup of the corporate brew.  But, really, if a Starbucks doesn't do the trick, would a generic columbian office brew really be up to the task?   Good thing I don't have to drive long distances, or move heavy objects.

Oh wait, um...strike that on both counts.

Try tea? Coffee just gets me dizzy but tea works wonders for banishing my drowsiness.

Not a bad idea. However, the only tea I've got here is Rooibos, which while tasty, lacks caffiene. And I kind of stand on principle that i'm not paying 70 cents for a lipton tea bag at the office cafe. Maybe I'll brew some Rooibos anyway, just because.

Ah. I forget that you don't live in a naturally tea-producing country, where tea is so ubiquitous that sometimes it's considered as an inferior good....

True, but tea in general shouldn't be that expensive. Especially not for a generic brand like lipton. Even my Rooibos which is a hefty $8 per container, works out to only about 27 cents a bag. The mark up on the goods in the cafeteria here is rather steep. Tea, I can make easily if I bring in my own bags. Coffee, not so much. (Unless I want to fiddle with grinds and french presses, and all sorts of other things.)

Thankfully, I am starting to be a bit more cognizant. Equally thankful the heavy lifting is done, and no injuries to myself or anyone else. All that's left is the long ride home, and well, a whole evening. But that's par for the course.
