A release date.  Finally.

Well, okay, maybe not so much finally.   I've been randomly stalking this game for a while.  Though I'm rather disappointed that there seems to be a whole lot of new stuff on their site, and I didn't see any dang thing about it, EVEN THOUGH I SIGNED UP FOR THE EMAIL LIST/NEWSLETTER like over a year ago.  (Sorry, was I shouting?)   Grrr.

In the end, I'm happy to see it coming, though all it will do is remind of how much my home computer totally sucks.   It will mock me.  Tell me that I can buy the nice shiny package, but I won't be able to play it on my lame Celeron 600Mhz PC.  With 128 MB of ram.   Oh the sham.  I mean shame.

Woe is me.  I am a geek who has a lame computer.

Okay, back to reality.  Perhaps its just as well.  I need a distraction these days like a hole in my head.  So perhaps it's just sour grapes, er, all for the best.

The irony is I'll probably be able to play the damn game on my phone before I get around to upping my home equipment within the realm of "modern".

There are some nice cheap machines up on today's Woot-off.

Yeah, that's pretty cheap. I'm going to have to see if it's really in the budget to perform an upgrade this year or not. With the basement remodelling going on, I'm thinking probably not. Also, when I bought my Kindle, I assumed that it meant I'd have to delay another year before upgrading the home PC.

It's not like I do much with it at the moment anyway.
