My older son wanted me to remind folks that the latest issue (108) of Space and Time Magazine is out and available.

The Little Man, engrossed in the latest issue of Space and Time

As you can see I can't tear him away from it!

Woah! I think he just got the creeps from that story...

My younger son is less enamoured with the reading these days, instead he just puts the headphones on and rocks out to the tunes.  I caught him here calling out for Freebird.  Dude, wait for it, that track will come up.  What kind of a dad do you think I am?

Anyway, I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the well wishes on my new son's birth, and for the new story sale.  Hopefully, life will soon settle down to a more regular level of insanity, and I'll get back to more regular postings.

The best part is that he grabbed the magazine on his own. I didn't stage that one. (Though once he noticed the camera out, he started posing for the camera, and not holding up the magazine anymore. Oh, and I totally staged the last pic.)

I'm more worried about your sons learning of this LJ and taking it over.

Once my son gets old enough to really work a computer, I'll be lucky to get any time on the internet at all. He'll probably be hogging all the bandwidth.

LOL

Kurtzhau looks at our SF books with a beady eye. I have a feeling that when he can read fluently, we might have to order or shelves according to age appropriateness...

Re: LOL

My older son just loves stories. I imagine (hope) that he'll be quite the reader. But then, with two parents with their noses in books, odds are a tad in our favor. He already "reads" his own books all the time anyway. Makes me want to write a few kids books, just to share my writing with him now. (Of course books without illustrations aren't terribly exciting to him at this age.)
