I just want to know one thing.
Why, when I'm all ready diligently working on a story, I keep finding more stories popping up in my head, practically whole, and ready to be written? I can't pause what I'm working on to write it. I have to be satisfied with just notes. But, in the immortal words of Charlie Brown:
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!
Okay, I got that out. Now I feel a smidge better.
After a low productive weekend, I managed to get back up to my quota last night, a challenge with a one month old. I'm nominally behind though, because I was hoping to have the first story of the year done by now. Picking up the pace might not be feasible, so I think, I need to be more efficient. Try for shorter stories, because if I keep writing these longer ones, it will slow me down. And they'll be more challenging to sell.
